Two Faith Hill Songs Most-Played, Tim McGraw Most-Played Artist This Decade

Faith Hill says she's amazed to have two of the most played songs of the decade. According to Nielsen BDS data, the singer's hit "Breathe" is the fourth-most played track of the past ten years, behind Nickelback's "How You Remind Me," Train's "Drops of Jupiter," and Lifehouse's Hanging By a Moment." Hill's "The Way You Love Me," meantime, comes in at number six after Three Doors Down's "Kryptonite." Faith Hill says the news left her speechless, noting, quote, "I was absolutely floored." She adds, quote, "The idea that these songs have connected the way that they have, with so many people, is just magical to me -- it's a tremendous honor. It's what inspires me to continue to make music." Each of Hill's songs have been aired more than one-million times. Lee Ann Womack's "I Hope You Dance" is the only other country song to garner more than a million spins.

Hill's husband Tim McGraw has been the most-played artist on radio over the past ten years, with his songs logging seven-point-eight-million spins. Country stars lead the way in radio airplay, with Toby Keith in second place, George Strait taking the number three spot, and Alan Jackson at number four. Kenny Chesney, Rascal Flatts, Brooks & Dunn, and Garth Brooks also land in the top ten.
