South Dakota Boy Saved After Sticking Tongue To Dumpster

A nine-year-old South Dakota boy had to be rescued by several helpful neighbors after getting his tongue stuck on a cold metal dumpster. Jay Wilson tells the "Rapid City Journal" he heard the boy screaming for help on Tuesday afternoon behind his apartment complex. Wilson says he and another tenant ended up using a glass of hot water to get the boy's tongue free. The boy says he got the idea from the movie "A Christmas Story" which he apparently watched the night before with his older sister. He's expected to be fine.
