Toby Keith Launching First European Tour

Toby Keith is embarking on his first ever European tour. The singer is launching a nine-date overseas trek with a show in Glasgow, Scotland Monday night, marking his touring debut on the other side of the Atlantic. Keith has set up the special website TobyKeithWorldTour.com in conjunction with the trek, which will wrap up in Bergen, Norway just before Thanksgiving. Several stops on the tour, including Tuesday's concert in London, are sellouts.

Over the summer Keith got an inkling as to just how popular he is overseas. In Norway, his CD "That Don't Make Me A Bad Guy" was on its way to a Platinum certification with sales approaching the 30-thousand mark. Following his tour Keith will make a return trip to Norway in December. He's set to perform at the Nobel Peace Prize Concert in Oslo on December 10th.
