Kenny Chesney is among the winners at the 2009 Billboard Touring Awards. The singer's Sun City Carnival trek got the nod for Top Package, beating the Jonas Brothers and Nickelback for the honor. Chesney's trek also featured Miranda Lambert and Lady Antebellum, while Montgomery Gentry and Sugarland performed at most of the stadium dates. Chesney was also in the running for the fan voted Eventful Fans' Choice Award, but that prize went to the Jonas Brothers.Meanwhile, Keith Urban's Escape Together tour earned an award for his sponsors, KC Masterpiece and Kingsford Charcoal. The award recognizes the companies that did the best job of promoting a tour and providing value to the concertgoers. The 2009 Billboard Touring Awards took place in New York City last Thursday, capping off the two-day 6th annual Billboard Touring Conference.
