Kellie Pickler Excited, Nervous About CMA Awards
Kellie Pickler says she's looking forward to this week's Country Music Association Awards. The singer, who's on board for the ceremony as a presenter, admits she's nervous about the event. She explains that there's always pressure in participating in an awards show in any capacity. Pickler adds that she's looking forward to the performances slated for the show, hinting that there are some surprises in store. Many stars are set to perform at the event, including Brooks & Dunn, Tim McGraw, Reba McEntire, George Strait, Taylor Swift, and Sugarland, as well as Carrie Underwood and Brad Paisley, who will also host the ceremony. A few special collaborations are also in the works, with Kenny Chesney to team up with Dave Matthews, Vince Gill to perform with Daughtry, and Jamey Johnson to join with Kid Rock. The 43rd annual CMA Awards will be presented in Nashville, and air live on ABC on Wednesday.
