Fire Destroys Andy Griggs' Home

Andy Griggs is thankful to be alive and with his family this Thanksgiving. The country singer lost his home over the weekend to a fire. Flames tore through the house on Saturday, causing severe damage to the structure. Fortunately, Griggs and his family were able to escape the blaze, and nobody was injured. However, their home is described as "a complete loss." A statement from Griggs' reps say the family is, quote, "strong in their spiritual faith," and adds that Andy has been moved by the show of support he has received from his fans. The statement adds that Griggs, quote, "wants to assure everyone that he and his family are fine and he expresses his most sincere thanks to all of this fans and friends for their thoughts and prayers at this time."
