Teller Stops Robbery By Closing Bank

A bank teller in Cranston, Rhode Island had an easy time running off a would-be robber last week. The "Providence Journal" is reporting that a man walked into a Citizens Bank last Thursday evening and handed the teller a poorly written note. The employee had a hard time deciphering the message, but was able to make out the word robbery. The teller quickly responded by telling the man they were closed and then pulled down the security screen door. The suspect gave up on his plan and left the building without any money. No arrests have been made in the case.
