Elderly Man Assaults Ex With Fruit

An elderly Florida man is accused of using fruit to assault his ex-wife last week. Sebastiano Russo reportedly came home drunk last Tuesday and began arguing with his ex, who still lives with him. According to the "Daytona Beach News-Journal," the fight started when Russo said he wanted to bring his girlfriend to the house. During the dispute, the 75-year-old Volusia County resident allegedly threw a grape at his ex-wife, and then threatened to kill her and burn down the house. He was subsequently arrested and charged with aggravated battery on a person over 65.
