Report: "Two And A Half Men" Show Order Cut In Half, Crew's Fuming

Crew members employed by the Charlie Sheen hit "Two And A Half Men" are reportedly fuming over news that production on the series has been scaled back. TMZ.com cites sources who say that show creator Chuck Lorre has decided to produce only four new episodes of "Men" -- not eight -- when Sheen completes rehab. This will impact the income of staffers connected with the series. TMZ quotes one crew member who says, quote, "We've been left in the dark and now we have no pay for four episodes and all we hear is that Chuck is saying, 'They're not my problem.'"

Sources also say that Sheen's offered to shoot episodes on weekends and beyond the existing wrap schedule to get all eight shows done. Sheen, meanwhile, conveyed his urgency to get back to work first hand on radio's "Dan Patrick Show" on Monday. The actor said, quote, "I heal really quickly, but I also unravel pretty quickly -- so get me right now, Guys. Get me right now."

As it stands, "Two And A Half Men" is reportedly scheduled to resume production for the 2010-2011 season at the end of this month, on February 28th. The show's production was put on hold after its star, Sheen, entered rehab following his hospitalization in late January after an alleged 36 hour "binge."
