"30 Rock's" Alec Baldwin Gets Walk Of Fame Star On Monday

Alec Baldwin is one of the latest "stars" added to Hollywood's Walk of Fame. Baldwin -- a stage, television, and film actor -- unveiled his star in the six-thousand block of Hollywood Boulevard on Monday. The actor used the occasion to say that his current TV gig, "30 Rock," is the best job he's ever had. The 52-year-old commented, quote, "Even though I've done a lot of different things in film -- big films, little films, plays, so forth -- the television show I'm doing now really has been the best experience I've ever had. It's really been a lot of fun. And I'm grateful to be given this recognition." Baldwin began acting on "30 Rock" in the role of network executive Jack Donaghy in the fall of 2006.

In his multi-decade career, Alec Baldwin's also appeared in over 40 films, including "It's Complicated," "The Departed," and "The Hunt For Red October." He's also hosted NBC's "Saturday Night Live" a total of 15 times, tying the number of hosting gigs by comedian and actor Steve Martin.
