Music Teacher Charged With Pawning School Instruments

(Orange City, FL) -- A high school music teacher in Florida is accused of stealing and selling school and students' instruments. The sheriff's office says James Morris from DeLand stole the instruments, hawked them and admitted having a gambling problem. He was confronted about the thefts and this week resigned from University High School. He is charged with more than a dozen counts of dealing in stolen property. The 21-year-old was being held on 21-thousand-dollars bail.
