Kenny Chesney Plays Benefit For Florida's Everglades

Kenny Chesney is helping preserve the Everglades. The country superstar played a benefit over the weekend for The Everglades Foundation, which works to protect and restore Florida's unique ecosystem. Jimmy Buffett, who's on the Foundation's board, asked Chesney to take part in the event, and Kenny says he welcomed the invite. He explains, quote, "Restoring and protecting future damage to the Everglades is very important to me. Hopefully this helped bring some attention to a very important cause." Chesney and Buffett even teamed up for a couple of songs at the event, performing Chesney's hit "Back Where I Come From" and Buffett's classic "Come Monday" together. In addition, Mac McAnally joined Chesney to sing their collaborative hit "Down The Road." The Everglades Foundation benefit took place in Palm Beach, Florida Friday night.
