Brad Paisley Martina McBride Perform At Record-Setting Daytona 500

Brad Paisley says it was a thrill to drive the pace car at the Daytona 500. After leading the field of drivers around the track behind the wheel of a Chevrolet Camaro SS, the country star tweeted, quote, "WOW!!!!!!! I think I won like three laps!!! Wait., what?," then said, quote, "Seriously,driving the pace car was about the most ridiculously exciting thing I've ever done. & @JeffGordonWeb was bumping me.tradin' paint!" Brad added, quote, "Looking in your rear view mirror and seeing that sight is something I may never top." He also expressed his gratitude to those who made his "fantasy camp" happen.

In addition to being the honorary pace car driver, Paisley also played a three-song pre-race set, treating NASCAR fans to performances of his hits "Water," "Mud on the Tires," and his current single, "This Is Country Music." Martina McBride was also on hand to sing "The Star-Spangled Banner" before the event. Trevor Bayne, who just turned 20 on Saturday, won the Daytona 500 and became the youngest driver ever to take the checkered flag in "The Great American Race."
