Farrah Fawcett's Iconic Swimsuit Given To Smithsonian

The red swimsuit famously worn by Farrah Fawcett in a top-selling poster from the 1970s, is heading to the Smithsonian. The suit was donated to the Smithsonian National Museum by the late actress' former partner, actor Ryan O'Neal. He's also turning over an original copy of the swimsuit poster as well as a leather-bound book of Fawcett's scripts for TV's "Charlie's Angels," a Fawcett swimsuit jigsaw puzzle, an original 1977 Farrah Fawcett doll and a "Farrah's Glamour Center" hairstyling toy. Fawcett's signature feathered hairstyle was emulated by many women during the 1970s. Fawcett died in 2009 following a long battle with cancer. She was 62.
