College Students Facing Armed Robbery Charges

(Springfield, MA) -- A couple of Massachusetts college students are in serious trouble for allegedly stealing candy from another student in an armed robbery. Officials in Springfield say American International College students Randy Quartery and Tykeith Fantroy broke into the victim's room this past Monday with a gun and demanded candy. The victim told the two men they needed to pay for the candy but the weapon was convincing enough and he handed of a bag of Welch's fruit snacks. Surveillance video helped identify the suspects and they were taken into custody. They are facing armed robbery charges.
