Alan Jackson, Zac Brown Honored To Share A GRAMMY

(Nashville, TN) -- Alan Jackson is enjoying his second career GRAMMY Award. The singer is sharing the honor with Zac Brown Band for their collaborative hit "As She's Walking Away." He says he felt "honored" to be invited to team up with the group to record the song, and adds, quote, "You know, it's pretty cool when a few of us Georgia boys can end up winning a GRAMMY out in L.A." Zac Brown, who was in Los Angeles to accept the award at Sunday's ceremony, says he's stunned to have earned GRAMMY awards in two consecutive years. He explains, quote, "It was an honor to be recognized by The Recording Academy as Best New Artist last year, and to be able to follow that up with another win this year was just incredible." He adds that the group was grateful for the chance to work with Jackson, calling him "one of our musical heroes," and they're thrilled to win an award with him.
