Miranda Lambert Now Seeing Rewards From Years Of Hard Work

(Undated) -- Miranda Lambert has come a long way in her career. The 27-year-old singer says her recent successes are the results of all the effort she's put in over the years. Lambert came to fame as a finalist on the first season of the reality TV series "Nashville Star" in 2003. While she didn't win, it led to a record deal and the release of her major label debut, "Kerosene," two years later. That album became a chart-topper, and her other two CDs, "Crazy Ex-Girlfriend" and "Revolution," also went to number one. Nominations -- from the Country Music Association, Academy of Country Music, CMT, and the GRAMMYs -- then began to roll in. She took her first ACM award in 2007, and last year added to her list of accomplishments with CMT and CMA awards. Miranda now has her first GRAMMY, getting the nod for Best Female Country Vocal Performance with "The House That Built Me" at Sunday's event.
