Taylor Swift Nabs A People's Choice Award

Taylor Swift has earned another trophy. The singer was named Favorite Country Artist at the 37th annual People's Choice Awards, getting the nod over Carrie Underwood, Keith Urban, Lady Antebellum, and Rascal Flatts. In accepting her trophy during CBS' broadcast of the fan-voted event, Swift expressed her gratitude for all the support she's received from her followers. Swift also took part in the ceremony. She served as a presenter, handing out the prize for Favorite Movie Actor to Johnny Depp. But other country stars didn't fare quite as well. In addition to the country award Carrie Underwood was up for Favorite Female Artist, which went to pop singer Katy Perry. She also had a nomination for her acting. Her guest role on "How I Met Your Mother" earned her a bid for Favorite TV Guest Star, but that nod went to Demi Lovato for her appearance on "Grey's Anatomy." Tim McGraw was also among the nominees, vying for Favorite Male Artist, which went to rapper Eminem. The 37th annual People's Choice Awards were presented in a ceremony in Los Angeles, and aired on CBS Wednesday night.
