Stolen Goat Discovered During DUI Stop

California Highway Patrol made an interesting discovery during a suspected DUI stop last week. According to the "Press-Enterprise," a goat police believe was stolen was found in a man's truck late last Tuesday night. A passenger inside the vehicle attempted to flee the scene, but thwarted his own plans by falling on his face. John Walsh, spokesman for Riverside County Animal Services, says neither the driver nor his passenger claimed ownership of the goat, leading police to suspect that the animal was stolen. No arrests were reported, but the goat was taken to a local shelter.
