Happy Birthday Betty White: Famous Octogenarian Turns 89 Today

"Golden Girl" Betty White turns 89 years old today. White, who has had a whirlwind year of film and television appearances, shows no signs of slowing down as she marks another milestone celebration with friends and fans. TMZ says the cast and crew of her new TVLand series, "Hot In Cleveland," are throwing a party in Betty's honor at Manhattan's Le Cirque restaurant on Tuesday night. Fans have also left numerous birthday messages on a digital birthday card that appears on the "Hot In Cleveland" Facebook page. Tina Fey, Taylor Swift, Kelly Ripa, Regis Philbin and Carl Reiner are among White's famous fans who have signed their well wishes. White returns to the small screen this Wednesday night with the second season premiere of "Hot In Cleveland" on TV Land. The series also stars Valerie Bertinelli, Jane Leeves and Wendie Malick. White and the cast are nominated at the upcoming Screen Actors Guild Awards on January 30th.
