Report: Aguilera To Perform National Anthem At Super Bowl 45

Christina Aguilera is reportedly on tap to perform "The Star Spangled Banner" at Super Bowl 45. The NFL hasn't confirmed anything yet, but "HitFix" is reporting that multiple sources say the pop star will be singing the national anthem before the game at Cowboys Stadium in Arlington, Texas. This will be Aguilera's second trip to football's biggest game. She performed alongside Enrique Iglesias and Phil Collins during the halftime show at Super Bowl 34 in 2000. This year, the halftime duties fall to The Black Eyed Peas. Super Bowl 45 will be played February 6th and will be broadcast live by Fox. Kickoff is scheduled for 6:25 p.m. Eastern, and Aguilera should take the mic sometime shortly before that.
