Josh Turner Finally Able To Use His Writing Cabin
Josh Turner finally has a place to call his own. The singer tells TheBoot.com he began building a writing cottage on his property in Nashville to have an area to himself that would foster his creativity. He explains, quote, "I've found throughout the years that I needed a place where I can go with no TV, no computer, no phone and just have no distractions and just be able to sit and think and just not be disturbed." It's taken two years to complete, which Turner admits was much longer than he anticipated, but adds that it's worth the wait. The country star notes the log cabin, with a wrap-around porch and stone fireplace, won't just be his writing area but a reflection of him. He says, quote, "I want to be able to display a lot of the things that I've been able to accomplish, a lot of who I am in there, not just musically." But Turner adds that the main reason for the cabin is, quote, "for me to get in there and write and get inspired and be creative. I think I'll be able to do that for a long time."
