Taylor Swift Reportedly Met Jake Gyllenhaal Through Gwyneth Paltrow

Taylor Swift just might have Gwyneth Paltrow to thank for all the buzz surrounding her rumored relationship with Jake Gyllenhaal. When asked by "USA Today" about introducing the country-pop crossover star and the actor, Paltrow didn't deny that they met at a dinner party she hosted in London. The "Country Strong" star wouldn't confirm the rumor either, but said, quote, "Well, I'm scared to say." She added, quote, "It's so weird. I wonder how people find out these things. It was a while ago, so I don't know why it would come out today." Paltrow added, quote, "I've just known Jake for a long time and he's a great guy, and Chris has a friendship with Taylor." Swift and Gyllenhaal's rumored romance seemed to crop up out of the blue in October. The two had been seen together a number of times, and reportedly spent the Thanksgiving holiday together.
