Martina McBride To Perform At NASCAR Awards

Martina McBride is the latest star to sign on for NASCAR's upcoming event. The singer has been tapped to perform "America the Beautiful" at the 2010 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series Awards. McBride says she's looking forward to singing for the racing crowd, noting, quote, "NASCAR and country music go hand-in-hand and have one very important thing in common -- the fans. They are the most loyal I've ever known, and it's always a thrill to perform live for such an enthusiastic and supportive audience." Rascal Flatts is also participating in the ceremony, which caps off NASCAR's post-season Champion's week. The 2010 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series Awards will take place in Las Vegas on Friday, and air live on SPEED at 9:00 p.m. Eastern.
