iPhone App Leads Authorities To Suspect
(Houston, TX) -- A suspected robber in Texas is recovering from injuries after allegedly stealing an iPhone with an app that helped authorities find him. Authorities allege the armed suspect robbed two female joggers in Houston on Wednesday morning and fled the scene in a pickup truck with one victim's iPhone. The GPS application allowed authorities to track the phone to the suspect who later crashed the pickup truck along a freeway during a police chase. The truck burst into flames, and the suspect was transported to the hospital.
