Trace Adkins Hosting American Country Awards; Easton Corbin, Steel Magnolia Performing

Trace Adkins will be at the helm for the first-ever American Country Awards. The singer has been tapped to host the inaugural ceremony, coming up next month. He's also a three-time nominee heading into the event. Adkins is in the running for Touring Artist of the Year with Martina McBride for their co-headlining "Shine All Night" trek, while his collaboration with Blake Shelton, Hillbilly Bone," is up for Music Video: Male and Music Video of the Year. The lineup for the show is also growing. Easton Corbin, who's leading the way along with Lady Antebellum with seven nominations apiece, is a newly added performer along with Steel Magnolia and Uncle Kracker. Those who've already signed on for the show include Toby Keith, Reba McEntire, Rascal Flatts, Blake Shelton, and Josh Turner. In addition, Lady Antebellum, Jewel, Laura Bell Bundy, and Rodney Carrington are just some of the confirmed presenters for the event. The American Country Awards will be presented in a ceremony in Las Vegas, and air live on Fox on December 6th at 8:00 p.m. Eastern.
