Sugarland's Jennifer Nettles Excited About "CMA Country Christmas"
Sugarland's Jennifer Nettles says she's glad ABC is airing the special "CMA Country Christmas." She says she's always enjoyed these types of shows. Nettles is hosting the show, which includes a variety of country stars sharing their Christmas traditions and memories along with many performances. Highlights include a clip of a 12-year-old Brad Paisley singing the first song he ever wrote, "Born on Christmas Day." He also takes the stage for "What Child Is This," and he teams up with Sheryl Crow on "Run, Run, Rudolph." Rascal Flatts contributes a salute to the troops with their performance of "I'll Be Home for Christmas," and Kellie Pickler puts her spin on "Santa Baby." Martina McBride, Reba McEntire, LeAnn Rimes, Darius Rucker, Little Big Town, and Sugarland also perform, and everyone participates in a finale of "Jingle Bell Rock." The 90-minute "CMA Country Christmas" was taped in Nashville earlier this month, and will have its premiere on ABC Tonight at 9:30 p.m. Eastern.
