Keith Urban Finds A Structured Work Schedule Helpful
Keith Urban admits he's a procrastinator when it comes to songwriting. But he notes he's found techniques that keep him on track when he's crafting new material. Urban adds that while he might take a disciplined approach to songwriting, he doesn't put deadlines on his creativity. He explains that when he's working on a CD he doesn't set "cut off points," and if he comes up with something he likes toward the end of the album-making process he'll try to get that song on the disc. Urban is currently promoting his recently released CD "Get Closer," and will make his debut on the syndicated "Oprah Winfrey Show" on Monday. During his appearance he'll discuss his album and perform his current single, "Put You In A Song."
