President Bush Talks "Decision Points" In NBC Primetime

Former President George W. Bush talks to the "Today" show's Matt Lauer in primetime tonight. The interview, airing in the NBC special "Matt Lauer Reports," is Bush's first since leaving the Oval Office. The former president has a new memoir to promote called "Decision Points." Excerpts released from Bush's interview with Lauer shows the former Commander-in-Chief still upset over Kanye West's 2005 declaration in which the rapper said President Bush did not care about black people. The statement came in the midst of a televised fundraiser for Hurricane Katrina. Bush told Lauer that West's statement was the lowest point of his presidency and one of the most "disgusting" moments during his term in office. The interview can be seen in its entirety on NBC's "Matt Lauer Reports" tonight at 8:00 pm Eastern. Bush's memoir "Decision Points" is due out Tuesday.
