Conan To Make His TBS Late Night Debut Tonight

Conan O'Brien returns to the TV airwaves tonight as host of the new TBS late night series "Conan." The funnyman kicks off his latest late show gig with actor Seth Rogen and rocker Jack White as his first guests. In an interview with "Playboy" magazine due to hit newsstands this Friday, O'Brien said he would emphasize the "talk" in talk show this go-around, putting more focus on learning more about his guests than plugging their projects. O'Brien's TBS gig begins ten months after a contract-imposed TV hiatus, resulting from his controversial exit from NBC last January. Based in Los Angeles, "Conan" will air four days a week, from Monday through Thursday, at 11:00 pm Eastern on TBS.

Other guests lined up for "Conan's" inaugural week include Oscar winner Tom Hanks, "30 Rock" actor Jack McBrayer and Soundgarden on Tuesday night; "Mad Men" star Jon Hamm on Wednesday, and actor Michael Cera and Julie Bowen of "Modern Family" on Thursday.
