Former Juror Gets Jail Time
(Oklahoma City, OK) -- A former juror in Oklahoma City will spend 90 days behind bars for misconduct that caused a mistrial in a high-profile case. Marvin Brown got drunk and didn't appear for trial while on jury duty. Deputies had to pick Brown up and said they found him intoxicated and possibly high. He told the judge the stress from the case, along with being out of work, caused him to drink until he blacked out. The judge found the 27-year-old Brown in contempt of court and said, quote, "This was a great waste of resources." Brown was sitting in on a domestic abuse case which involved sexual fetish.
