Coffin Company Causes Controversy With Calendar
A coffin making company in Poland is raising eyebrows with their sexy new calendar. According to the U.K.'s "Orange" news, Lindner has produced a 12-month spread that features models in lingerie draped over caskets. The calendar also features a Hollywood theme, as each photo is based on popular films like "James Bond" and "The Godfather." Not everyone appreciates Lindner's unique approach to the coffin business, as one local church official remarked, quote, "This is simply tasteless and shocking. Death is not sexy and the connotations presented in this calendar are disturbing to say the least." Lindner caused a similar stir last year, when they released a racy calendar that sold more than three-thousand copies.
