Carrie Underwood, Brad Paisley Ready To Host CMA Awards
Carrie Underwood says she's not really concerned about specific aspects of the 44th annual Country Music Association Awards. The singer is in the running for two awards and she's slated to perform at the event. But Underwood notes she'll be too busy as a host to worry about anything else. Underwood is once again co-hosting the event with Brad Paisley. Paisley agrees that emceeing the ceremony is a hefty responsibility. But he believes he and Underwood are ready to handle what's to come. Paisley explains that they've learned a few things from their previous experiences as co-hosts and they know what they need to do to keep the action moving. Like Underwood, Paisley is also a nominee as well as a performer for the event. The 44th annual CMA Awards will be presented in a ceremony at Nashville's Bridgestone Arena. The three-hour ceremony will air live on ABC Wednesday night starting at 8:00 p.m. Eastern.
