The mother of late actress Brittany Murphy is honoring her daughter's memory with a new book. A rep for Sharon Murphy tells TMZ.com that the grieving mother plans to write Brittany's life story in what she calls "an accurate account about my daughter, her life, loves and career." Murphy says a portion of the profits from the biography will be donated to charity. No release date has been set. Brittany Murphy died suddenly last December after collapsing at her home in Los Angeles. A coroner's report later stated that the primary cause of Murphy's death was pneumonia with secondary factors of anemia and multiple drug intoxication likely brought on by a number of over-the-counter prescription medications she was taking to treat a cold. Her death was ruled to be an accident.
Murphy, whose film credits included films such as "Clueless," "Just Married," "Girl Interrupted, "8 Mile" and "Happy Feet," was just 32 years old at the time of her death. Yesterday marked what would have been her 33rd birthday.
