Phil Collins Discusses Past Lives, Suicidal Thoughts
Phil Collins is making deeply personal revelations in a new "Rolling Stone" interview. The Genesis frontman admits to contemplating suicide in recent years. The Rock and Roll Hall of Famer says, quote, "A comedian who committed suicide in the sixties left a note saying,'Too many things went wrong too often.' I often think about that." Collins also says he believes in the paranormal, including the possibility that he's lived past lives. The 59-year-old says there are orbs of light in photos that he took during a trip to the Alamo in San Antonio, Texas. He explains the significance of the orbs, stating that a psychic told him that he fought at a fort in a past life. On the musical front, Collins is exploring his past as well. His most recent album -- "Going Back" -- is filled with covers of American soul that the rocker remembers from his youth.
