Report: Susan Boyle Walks Off "America's Got Talent" In Tears

Susan Boyle's scheduled performance on NBC's "America's Got Talent" apparently ended before it ever got started. Sources tell TMZ.com that the singer arrived at the "AGT" studios on Wednesday ready to perform the song "Perfect Day." However, at the last minute the song's writer -- former Velvet Underground frontman Lou Reed -- refused to let Boyle perform the track because he isn't a fan of hers. Insiders say the former "Britain's Got Talent" finalist was reduced to tears when learning of Reed's decision, and promptly left the show. Boyle reportedly went to the Los Angeles International Airport to try and catch a flight back to London. "America's Got Talent" has refused to comment.

NBC's "America's Got Talent" airs Tuesdays and Wednesdays at 9:00 p.m. Eastern. The season five finale is scheduled to air next Wednesday, September 15th.
