Alice Cooper, Beastie Boys, Bon Jovi, and Neil Diamond are among an eclectic group of artists up for nomination for next year's Rock and Roll Hall Of Fame inductions. The Rock Hall announced 15 acts as nominees for possible induction into the Class of 2011 on Tuesday morning. Other nominees vying for a place in the famed music hall include Donovan, Chic, Dr. John, J. Geils Band, LL Cool J, Darlene Love, Laura Nyro, Donna Summer, Joe Tex, Tom Waits and Chuck Willis. Inductees will be announced in the coming weeks after a voting process. Those selected for induction will be feted at the 26th Annual Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony slated for March 14, 2011 at the Waldorf-Astoria in New York City. The ceremony will be televised live on the Fuse network.Nominee ballots will be sent to more than 500 voters who will select the artists to be inducted in the Rock and Roll Hall of fame next year. Eligible nominees must have released their first single or album at least 25 years prior to the year of nomination. For this year, nominees had to release their first single no later than 1985.
