Lee Brice On Record Setting Chart Run

Lee Brice is making history. His latest hit "Love Like Crazy" is breaking a record that's stood for more than 60 years for the most weeks on the Billboard Country Songs chart. With 55 weeks on the list, Lee's single is surpassing the mark set by Eddy Arnold's "Bouquet of Roses," which began a 54-week run in May 1948. Lee admits, quote, "It's really hard for me to wrap my head around the fact that this song has been on the charts for over a year." He calls "Love Like Crazy," quote, "a song people can relate to -- nothing flashy -- just straightforward and honest," and adds, quote, "I had a really good feeling about it when Doug Johnson played it for me. But never in my wildest dreams did I think it would have this kind of life. "Love Like Crazy" is currently at number three on the Billboard Country Songs chart. It made its chart debut at number 58 in the week of September 5th, 2009.

"Love Like Crazy" is not the only record holder for Lee. He also co-wrote Garth Brooks' chart-topping hit "More Than a Memory," which was the first song in the history of the Billboard Country Songs chart to enter the list at number one.
