Dierks Bentley Plans Career-Spanning NYC Residency

Dierks Bentley is planning a special series of concerts in New York City next month. The singer will be playing four different shows at four different venues, and at each concert he'll highlight a different side of his career. He'll also welcome special guests, such as the Del McCoury Band, the Punch Brothers, and Jessi Alexander to the various shows. Bentley says he's looking forward to his residency, noting, quote, "This entire year has been about following my heart, musically. Getting the opportunity to be in New York in the fall, playing with my heroes and my friends is really exciting...it's a cool way for me to take everything we've done this year and pick it apart and really focus on each different element of the music for an entire night."

Bentley will launch his concert run with a country show at the Bowery Ballroom on October 18th. The following night he'll be at the City Winery with the Del McCoury Band, which will emphasize his bluegrass leanings. On October 20th Bentley will host a "Songwriter Night" at Joe's Pub with Jessi Alexander, Jim Beavers and Jon Randall Stewart. He'll wrap up his residency at South Paw on October 21st with a performance with the Punch Brothers.
