Grand Ole Opry House Celebrating Grand Reopening Tonight
Dierks Bentley says what's most important to him about the reopening of the Grand Ole Opry House is "the circle." The singer admits those who aren't familiar with country music probably don't understand its significance, but notes "the circle" evokes very real feelings. The Grand Ole Opry House has been closed since the May flood damaged the venue, and left the stage under nearly four-feet of water. The facility has been repaired and "the circle" was removed and carefully restored. It's now back as the Opry House is hosting a star-packed celebration to announce its reopening. In addition to Bentley, those participating in the gala include Brad Paisley, Martina McBride, Trace Adkins, Keith Urban, and Montgomery Gentry. Blake Shelton, Charlie Daniels, Josh Turner, Jason Aldean, "Little" Jimmy Dickens, and Del McCoury will also be featured for the special show, which will air live on GAC. "Country Comes Home: An Opry Celebration" begins at 9:00 p.m. Eastern. The show will also be streaming live at opry.com, ustream.com/opry, and GACTV.com.
