Elderly Women Charged With Growing Pot

(Hudson, NY) -- An unusual drug bust is working its way through the courts of New York after two elderly women were allegedly caught growing marijuana. Officials in Hudson say 73-year-old Betty Engstrom and 68-year-old Patti Link ran a growing operation with about 200-thousand dollars worth of marijuana. They were busted last week during a multi-agency operation. Tips from the public played a part in the bust and both were taken into custody.
