"American Idol" Judges Include Lopez, Tyler, Jackson

Jennifer Lopez, Steven Tyler, and Randy Jackson will be taking their seats at the "American Idol" judges' panel for the Fox show's tenth season. The announcement was streamed live Wednesday at AmericanIdol.com, ending a summer of speculation as to who would serve on the judges' panel for the show's new season. Three "Idol" judges left the reality talent show after the show's ninth season. Longtime judge Simon Cowell left "Idol" earlier this year to pursue the launch of an American version of his British show "The X Factor." Talk show host Ellen DeGeneres left the show after just one season, and songwriter Kara DioGuardi left after a two-season run. Randy Jackson is the only original judge left on the series. The tenth season of "American Idol" is scheduled to launch in January.
