Nearly Nude Man Arrested For Pot Possession

An Alabama man probably should have thought twice before telling police to enter his home. According to "The Birmingham News," Jefferson County sheriff's deputies were called Wednesday morning after someone saw Richard Baker standing naked in the road. Authorities arrived to find the 48-year-old wearing nothing but a towel. Baker proceeded to tell police that someone was in his house trying to rob him, and instructed them to look for the suspect. They subsequently found a pound of marijuana in Baker's home. Chief Deputy Randy Christian remarks, quote, "Deputies found no signs of an intruder in the house, and little sign of intelligence outside the house." Richard Baker has been charged with first-degree possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.
