Florida Man Calls 911 For A Ride

A Florida man apparently needs the number to a taxi cab service. WPBF.com is reporting that Roger Hollaway was arrested last Thursday after he called 911. The 63-year-old Port St. Lucie resident reportedly told the dispatcher he needed a ride. He then said he was joking and hung up. When police arrived at Hollaway's home he said he called the emergency number because, quote, "I felt like it," adding that he just wanted to say "hi." Hollaway has been charged with misuse of the 911 system.
