Lindsay Lohan Exits Rehab Stint Early
Lindsay Lohan is out of rehab. TMZ.com reports that the "Mean Girls" actress left UCLA Neuropsychiatric Hospital on Tuesday after just 23 days. That's a fraction of the 90-day term to which the 24-year-old originally was sentenced. Lindsay will reportedly undergo outpatient care following her discharge. According to TMZ, doctors at the facility told Beverly Hills Judge Elden Fox that the actress should be released immediately and the judge authorized the release. A court hearing to review the actress' progress is scheduled for today. Lohan is not expected to attend in person. Judge Marsha Revel originally sentenced Lohan to 90 days in jail and another 90 days in rehab for violating her probation in a pair of DUI cases. The actress began her jail sentence on July 20th, but was released after about two weeks and sent directly to the rehab program. Lohan's case was transferred to Judge Fox after Judge Revel stepped down earlier this month. Revel recused herself from the case after prosecutors complained that she improperly discussed the case with the defense and rehab officials without notifying the prosecution.
