Coroner: Martin Short's Wife Died Of Natural Causes
Comedian Martin Short's wife, Nancy Dolman, died of natural causes. People.com reports that Los Angeles County Coroner Chief Craig Harvey will not be investigating the case. He says, quote, "[Nancy Dolman] was under the care of a private physician for natural disease. There will be no coroner involvement." Short's wife died Saturday at the couple's Pacific Palisades home. She was 58. Tabloid reports suggest Dolman was battling cancer at the time of her death, but a publicist has declined to comment. RadarOnline.com reports that she did not want a funeral. Short and Dolman met in 1972 and married in 1980. The couple shares three adult children, Katherine Elizabeth, Oliver Patrick, and Henry Hayter.
Short is nominated for an Emmy for Outstanding Supporting Actor In A Drama Series for his work on the FX series, "Damages." The 62nd Annual Primetime Emmy Awards are set for Sunday, August 29th at 8:00 p.m. Eastern on NBC.
