Kenny Chesney To Play Farm Aid

Kenny Chesney is among the confirmed performers for Farm Aid. The singer is among the new additions to the upcoming show's lineup. Also on board for this fall's show are Wilco's Jeff Tweedy and singer-songwriter Jason Mraz, who like Chesney are making a return to the event. Farm Aid newcomers include Norah Jones, Band Of Horses, Amos Lee, The BoDeans, and Robert Francis. Farm Aid founders Willie Nelson, John Mellencamp, and Neil Young are also slated to perform, along with longtime Farm Aid board member -- and one-time Chesney collaborator -- Dave Matthews. This year Farm Aid is marking its 25th anniversary. Farm Aid 25 is scheduled to take place at Miller Park in Milwaukee, Wisconsin on October 2nd. Tickets to the show go on sale to the general public on Saturday.

Chesney is making his third Farm Aid appearance with this year's concert. He also played Farm Aid in 2008, and he made his debut at the event in 2005.
