Jerrod Niemann Tops Chart With "Lover, Lover"
Jerrod Niemann now has a number one single to match his chart-topping album. The singer's hit "Lover, Lover" is taking the top spot on the Billboard Top Country Songs chart. Niemann was at number three last week, and is leaping past the number two song, Zac Brown Band's "Free," to number one. Niemann's single is unseating Carrie Underwood's "Undo It" from the peak position. It's taken the Niemann track nearly six months to rise to the top. The song made its chart debut back in March, entering the list at number 52. The track is from Niemann's first major label effort, "Judge Jerrod and the Hung Jury." The album, which was released last month, debuted at number one on the Billboard chart.
