Kris Kristofferson, Willie Nelson Receiving Special Honor

Kris Kristofferson and Willie Nelson are set to be honored by the educational organization Leadership Music. The country legends are slated to receive the Leadership Music Dale Franklin Award, along with producer and Monument Records executive Fred Foster. The award recognizes, quote, "music industry leaders who exemplify the highest quality of leadership and leading by example." Kristofferson, Nelson, and Foster are being noted as trailblazers in country music. The three will receive their awards at the upcoming Leadership Music Dale Franklin Award gala. Vince Gill is on board to emcee the event, while Lee Ann Womack and Rodney Crowell are among the scheduled performers. More participants are expected to be added to the ceremony. The Leadership Music Dale Franklin Award gala will take place in Nashville on August 29th.
