Jerrod Niemann Earns Gold Certification For "Lover, Lover"

Jerrod Neimann is seeing more accomplishments with his breakthrough single, "Lover, Lover." The song has become his first Gold recording, earning the certification as a digital single for reaching the 500-thousand mark in purchased downloads. The sales feat follows a chart milestone for the song. "Lover, Lover" recently became the singer's first number one single. Niemann says until that happened, he didn't realize just how many people were involved in making "Lover, Lover" a hit. "Lover, Lover" spent five months climbing the charts. Following its debut at number 52 on the Billboard Country Songs chart back in March, it finally reached the number one spot earlier this month. The track is from Niemann's first major label effort, "Judge Jerrod and the Hung Jury." The album, which was released last month, debuted at number one on the Billboard chart.
